Hillary Clinton to visit New Hampshire soon
Former first lady and possible 2016 presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is planning to visit the state of New Hampshire next month.
Clinton will be in the state to campaign for U. S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen and Governor Maggie Hassan. Clinton is also planning to campaign for Democratic candidates in Kentucky and Iowa ahead of the mid-term elections on 4 November, 2014. Clinton spokesman Nick Merrill said that she is working to help Democrats win in order to protect her core Democratic values.
Shaheen said, "There is so much at stake for New Hampshire in this election and I couldn't be more grateful to have Secretary Clinton's support. She's someone I'm proud to call a friend, and I can't wait to welcome her back to New Hampshire."
The Shaheen campaign also said in a statement that Clinton will visit on 2 November, 2014.
Meanwhile, former President Bill Clinton is expected to visit the state on 16 October, 2014 for the New Hampshire Democratic Party's annual Jefferson Jackson Dinner. Shaheen's husband, Bill Shaheen, served as a New Hampshire co-chair for Clinton's 2008 presidential campaign.
