A 28-year-old Nashua man was taken into custody and charged with heroin possession on Monday after several people reported that a man driving a truck in the area had a needle in his hand.
After receiving several calls that a man with a needle in his hand was driving in the Amoskeag Rotary area, Officer Ryan Boynton located the truck in the area of Pine Street and Lake Avenue at around 4:20 p. m., half an hour after receiving the initial call.
The driver of the 2002 black GMC Sonoma, identified as John Lozeau of 21 Ferson St., Nashua, was pulled over for failing to use a turn signal.
He was immediately taken into custody. Police found .22 grams of heroin in his possession in addition to the needle reported by several witnesses.
Police confirmed that Lozeau was arraigned in 9th Circuit Court-District Division-Manchester on Tuesday. No more information was made public.
