A 24-year-old Nashua man was taken into custody and charged with a number of felonies after his girlfriend accused him of holding her against her will, slamming her head into a wall and stabbing her, police said.
Sheldon Grant was arrested on Tuesday this week, and charged with a total of four felonies, including kidnapping, and two misdemeanors.
The 36-year-old victim, whose name was not released, told police that the suspect stabbed her while she was driving their vehicle from Manchester to Nashua on 12th of March. He assaulted her again a couple of days later at her apartment in Manchester.
The woman told investigators that the suspect threatened her saying, “I don’t care when the boys come; I’m going to kill you. I’m going to murder you.”
In addition the suspect detained her against her will and threatened her with a firearm. The woman was able to escape when he fell asleep.
Grant allegedly also scuffled with police officers when they were trying to arrest him. A weapon, a stolen .45-caliber handgun, was recovered from.
