A 49-year-old Foxboro man has been charged in connection with a crash that killed his passenger Thursday night in New Hampshire, a spokesperson for the state police announced.

The crash along Route 16 was reported shortly before 8:30 p.m. on Thursday. The pickup truck crashed into a number of trees before coming to a halt. The accident left one person dead and the other injured.

The injured man was identified as Michael Sheehan, the pickup’s driver and a resident of Foxboro. He was rushed to the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin. Doctors said he received serious but non-life threatening injuries.
