Nashua man charged with several counts of possessing child porn

A Nashua man was arrested and charged with several counts of possessing child sexual-abuse images after a Dish Network employee found child porn on the man’s computer, police confirmed.

John Miller, a 55-year-old resident of 69 Crown Street, faces a total of 10 counts of possessing child sexual-abuse photos. He is scheduled to reappear in court next week.

Newly released court documents state that a satellite service provider discovered the child porn on March 22 after he responded to Miller’s residence to correct modem and Internet service issues on the man’s laptop that was connected to the television.

Dish Network employee Michael Conley told police that when he opened IE on Miller’s laptop, he found images of young, pre-pubescent children engaged in sex acts with adults.

Police affidavit filed at Hillsborough County Superior Court South states, “Preliminary analysis revealed several hundred child sexual-abuse images, as defined by New Hampshire statute, saved in a folder titled ‘downloads.'”

Miller was arraigned on the charges last week. Currently, he is being held on $100,000 cash-only bail. He is scheduled to reappear in court on April 12, 2016. If convicted of the felonies, he could face up to fifteen years in prison for each charge.
