Murray’s docility takes him to clinch the Ageon Championship title for the Fifth time.
World Number two Andy Murray might be in a comfortable pose before Wimbledon. He is the owner of a record fifth Queen’s Club title as well as a winner’s bottle of champagne.
The British ace tennis star has picked him in the top after defeating the “Giant” Canadian power server Milos Raonic in the finals of the Aegon Championships on Sunday. Murray took a time over two hours and twelve minutes, 6-7(5), 6-4, 6-3, to beat the world number seven.
The Victory was much pleasing for the coach Ivan Lendl. He has got a quick success as he joined Murray after more than two years and missed the on-court celebrations. “He said he had to go to the lavatory and he watched up from the balcony”. Murray said.
“Actually we spoke about today’s match but more about next week and we are planning for Wimbledon. I do not want to miss the grand slam this time. I am going to prepare for that, the things we are to be working on” Murray added.
Andy Murray has previously commented on the coaching pattern of his new coach. He was much pleased with the game he played yesterday. “I can surely tell you, Ivan came to my tennis after a long span and I hope that I could win this grand slam” Murray added.
“He was definitely happy with this week because of the way I fought. The way I played in the big moments. I had literally zero preparation for this event. It has turned to be a great week. My coach has taught how keep self-belief and to fight until the match ends” Murray said to the press on Sunday.
“I know Murray for a longer period of time. The most important part is he is much obedient to me when I teach him new things. I have taught him to tight his nerves in the crucial moment. And he has performed so well. I am happy” Lendl overwhelmed.
Now, Andy Murray is looking forward to clinch the approaching grand slam. “I just aim to stop the run of Novak Djokovic, who runs at a calendar slam” Murray remarked.
