Djokovic pops head into the room and interrupts Dimitrov from talking trash
It was truly a different picture in Wimbledon on Monday evening. Gregor Dimitrov defeated American tennis player Bjorn Frantangelo in the first round of the championship, ending his six-matches losing streak. Generally, the players do not prefer to talk to media scribes after the first round.
But Dimitrov has everything unusual characteristics. So, he appeared before the media people and continued saying, “I do not fear anybody in this world!” And during the moment the World number one was passing by. Novak Djokovic popped his head into the press conference room and asked Dimitrov, “Are you not getting feared anybody in the World?” Dimitrov, initially embarrassed to have found Djokovic, offering him the question, replied smilingly, “No, especially you!”
Incidentally, Djokovic who reached the second round of Wimbledon on Monday has been in little trouble during the championship. The World number one has been restricted to ride his bicycle through the Wimbledon grounds. Djokovic was riding his bicycle through the Wimbledon grounds on Monday and while riding he had almost collided to a supply vehicle. One of the liaison officers in Wimbledon immediately informed Djokovic that for safety reason he would not be allowed to ride through the Wimbledon parks.
However, keeping the tradition of this prestigious championship, Djokovic had played his first match on Monday at6 the Center Court in Wimbledon. And after having reached second round Djokovic said, “It has been very special feeling to play on the Center Court of Wimbledon. Playing on the grass court in Wimbledon is always special to me.”
