Dead body found outside burning car in New Hampshire
The New Hampshire Police Department has confirmed that a dead body was found outside a burning vehicle in Stark in the morning hours of Monday.
In a newly released statement, sate police officials said that a local resident was the first person to come across the burning car on Millbrook Road at around 8:45 a. m. and call 911. When emergency crews arrived at the scene, the car was in flames and the body was outside it.
Gideon Benway, the resident who first saw the car in flames, said, "I heard a fire truck come up this morning, and then I ended up seeing an ambulance come up. It had the lights going on. I saw a few trucks and vehicles go up. There was a (state trooper) that sat down there, and then another one showed up."
Without revealing the identity of the victim, officials revealed that the body is an out-of-state resident. They added that they would wait to release the identity of the victim until they notified next of kin.
No further information was made public as the incident remains under investigation.
