Three people arrested on drug charges after traffic stop at Bedford tolls
Three people were taken into custody last Saturday on drug charges after police found them in possession of banned substances during a traffic stop on the F. E. Everett Turnpike near the Bedford tolls.
According to a newly-released statement, state troopers had stopped a Ford Expedition at around 11:40 p. m. on Saturday for a lane control violation. When they inspected the vehicle, they found a large amount of drugs including, 4 ounces of crystal meth and 2 ounces of heroin along with a dozen ounces of cocaine.
The three suspects were identified as 39-year-old Arturo Vargas, 38-year-old Samuel Lebron, and 27-year-old K. M. Andrickson. Vargas is aresident of New York, N. Y.; while Lebron and Andrickson are residents of Laconia and New York, respectively.
The banned substances were immediately seized and the three suspects were arrested and charged with transporting narcotics with intent to distribute. They are being held in jail in lieu of $100,000 cash bail.
