Man accused of double-homicide in Farmington arrested

A team of detectives from Massachusetts State Police and Lawrence Police departments claimed to have arrested a man who allegedly murdered two women in Farmington late last month.

Timothy Verrill, a 34-year-old resident of Dover, was taken into custody on two counts of second-degree murder in connection with the double-homicide case in which two women were stabbed to death on Jan. 29, 2017.

Verrill allegedly murdered 32-year-old Jenna Pellegrini of Barrington and 48-year-old Christine Sullivan of Farmington by stabbing them multiple times and striking them in the head with a blunt object.


Massachusetts State Police said in a statement, “With the assistance of troopers from the State Police Detective Unit for Essex County and Lawrence Police, Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section executed the arrest warrant and took Verrill into custody.”

Police also announced that the investigation into the circumstances surrounding double-homicide incident is still active and ongoing.

New Hampshire police officials are still urging the public to immediately contact them in case they have any information about the circumstances surrounding the double-homicide incident.
