Police chief offers to drop charges against teen if she poses nude for photos

A former police chief of a small-town in New Hampshire offered a teenager to drop a possession of alcohol charge against her if she would pose for nude photos in the station basement, the victim revealed publicly for the first time since March 2013, when the 'chilling' offer was made to her by the officer.

Janelle Westfall, then 18, was arrested by New London's former police chief David Seastrand, then 50, on 2nd of March, 2013. She was taken into custody while walking home after a party. The police chief charged her with giving a false name and possession of a beer can.

Thousands of utility customers in New Hampshire are still without electricity following the Wednesday night's powerful snowstorm as crews have so far failed to complete required repair works.

At its peak, more than 200,000 homes and businesses were without power in after the storm damaged power lines in numerous places. Utility companies have almost tripled their crews, with teams coming from as far as New Brunswick and Tennessee.
