For a Texas man, a family beach day turned into a terrible nightmare. The 50-year-old man, Brian Parrott, got part of his right leg amputated, so that his life could be saved from fatal infection from ’flesh-eating’ bacteria he developed following a trip to the beach in Galveston on June 12.

The security guard was having fun at beach along with his three children – Brian, 26, Stefanie, 24, and Cody, 17- and his grandchildren.

Lots of people visited Jamaica Beach of Texas over the weekend when an alligator washed ashore. The 13-foot-long beast turned out to be dead. Many people clicked pictures of the gator and shared on social media websites.

Some experts also visited the beach to know the cause of gator’s death. They said recent flooding may be behind it.

The huge gator was first spotted by Timeiki Hedspeth and her family who were at the beach, celebrating Father’s Day. When the creature washed ashore, many people gathered around the alligator. They said the creature was dead.

The man, Todd May, asserted that he found the head, weighing 75 pounds, and it seemed recognizable since Todd had seen Bigfoot in real life two times. Todd went on a hiking expedition close by to his home in Ogden in Utah, when he felt being attracted by something and after searching for approximately 90 minutes, he found the fossil.
