In a lawsuit filed last Tuesday in U. S. District Court in Boston, Melissa and Andrew Kaye of Braintree alleged that their son died after eating ground beef produced and processed by Missouri-based Rain Crow Ranch and sold to them by Whole Foods Market.

The upcoming public hearing is part of the committee's annual application review process that will be used in preparing its funding recommendations for the Annual Town Meeting.
